Watch real prediction-market odds, then practice with a 100% virtual bankroll. Prices come read-only from Polymarket's public API — no wallets, no orders, and no real money, ever. Built to teach how market prices approximate probabilities.

Highest-volume open markets
The most-traded open markets right now, ranked by 24-hour volume. A "Yes" price of $0.41 means the market currently implies roughly a 41% chance. Every card links out to the market on polymarket.com.

📡 Market data comes from Polymarket's public Gamma API via our read-only, GET-only proxy (/api/polymarket), cached 5 minutes at the edge. All data is credited to Polymarket; we aggregate and link out, and we are not affiliated with Polymarket. If the live feed is unreachable, the board shows a clearly labeled snapshot captured 2026-07-17 — never fabricated numbers.

🧮 How valuation works: a paper position buys stake ÷ entry price virtual shares. Its value is shares × current price; a winning share would resolve to $1 on the real market. If a market drops out of the feed, its position is shown valued at entry price and labeled accordingly — an honest "price unavailable", never a made-up number.
How prediction markets work
🎯
What a prediction market is
A prediction market lets people trade shares in the outcome of a future event — "Will X happen?" Shares in the winning outcome resolve to $1; shares in losing outcomes resolve to $0. The trading price in between reflects what the crowd collectively believes.
📐
Price ≈ probability
Because a winning share pays exactly $1, a share trading at $0.41 implies the market assigns roughly a 41% chance to that outcome. That's why prediction markets are studied as live, money-weighted probability estimates — often sharper than polls.
🌊
Why prices move
News, evidence, and opinion shifts flow into buy and sell pressure. If traders think an outcome is underpriced they buy it, pushing the price — and the implied probability — up. Watching prices react to news is the fastest way to build probability intuition.
🧪
Why we built a paper tester
Reading about probability is one thing; feeling a position move against you is another. The paper tester gives you that feedback loop with zero risk: virtual dollars, real prices, honest P/L. Learn calibration before ever considering real markets — or instead of them entirely.
A worked example (real market, captured 2026-07-17)
"Will Argentina win the 2026 FIFA World Cup?" — "Yes" was trading at $0.4115, implying about a 41% chance. A $100 paper stake at $0.4115 buys ≈ 243 virtual shares. If the price later rises to $0.50, the position is worth ≈ $121.50 (+$21.50 paper P/L). If Argentina were eliminated, "Yes" would head toward $0 and the paper stake toward $0 too.
Using the tester
Browse the live board
Open the Live Markets tab. Markets are ranked by 24-hour volume — the crowd's current focus. Each price is the market-implied probability.
Form your own estimate
Before staking, decide what probability you would assign. The gap between your estimate and the market price is your (paper) edge — or your mistake.
Open a paper position
In the Paper Tester tab, pick the market, the outcome, and a virtual stake between $100 and $10,000 from your $1,000 starting bankroll.
Track your P/L
Positions are revalued at the current fetched price every time the page loads the feed. Green means the market moved toward your view.
Close and review
Close a position to bank the virtual result, then ask: was I right for the right reason? Reset any time to start the experiment over at $1,000.
