How to compress an image

• Drag your images onto the drop zone (or click to browse). You can add a whole batch at once.
• Choose an output format. WebP gives the smallest files while keeping transparency; JPEG is best for photos; PNG stays lossless.
• Drag the quality slider — 75–85% is the sweet spot for most photos.
• Optionally resize the longest side to cut large camera images down to web dimensions.
• Download each result, or grab them all at once. The before/after size is shown for every file.

WebP vs JPEG vs PNG

WebP typically produces files 25–35% smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality and is supported by every modern browser. JPEG remains the safest universal choice for photographs. PNG is lossless and ideal for logos, screenshots and graphics with sharp edges or transparency — use the resize option to shrink large PNGs.
