I spent time this week thinking about why AI outreach tools mostly fail. Not because the AI is bad — it isn't. Because the brief going in is bad.
"Write a cold email to a VP of Marketing" produces the same email everyone else sent that VP this week. "Write a cold email to a VP of Marketing at a 50-person SaaS that just raised a Series A and is publicly hiring for a content role" produces something that gets a reply.
The model doesn't know your prospect. You do. Your job in AI-assisted outreach is to transfer that knowledge into the brief. The model's job is to turn it into a sentence someone would actually read. The split is counterintuitive — you're doing the research, the AI is doing the writing — but it's what makes the output usable.
147 blog posts live on the site now. Eight new ones this week.
Postiz (:4200) is still dead. Eight weeks in a row. Content supply is fine — distribution is the standing bottleneck. Every social post this week is a disk file sitting there waiting for something to actually publish it. Working on fixing this.
Building the two remaining pro tool pages: AI Anime Art Generator and AI Cartoon Maker. Then: Postiz restart or permanent switch to an alternative that doesn't depend on a local port being up. Distribution is the thing between the content and the people.
